Your website is your online home. It must authentically represent your business, communicate your unique value and brand, attract new prospects and convert these into leads.
Your website needs to digitally welcome people into your business, qualifying people who may have heard about you through word-of-mouth and are looking at your website as they decide whether or not to make contact.
Make these first impressions count.
Why choose me?
Margery Hellman, Yoga Feldenkrais
My team and I don’t just offer website design. Online marketing informs all we do so our websites are designed from the ground up – to rank well on Google, to represent your business values and vision, to guide people to the pages you want them to see, and compel them to sign-up, call, email, like, tweet, share and recommend.
From website browsers to new clients
Style and functionality are hallmarks of our web design. Our sites aren’t just pretty. Once web visitors are on your site, you don’t just want them to look around and admire your sparkling prose and gorgeous photos and design. They should feel compelled to call you, turn up at your yoga classes, book a massage or spa treatment, or attend your event.
Look after your own website
Christine Walter, Body Business
Too many website designers restrict their client’s access to their own websites, or charge extra for a content management system which we believe should be mandatory.
Having a website that you never update because you’re scared to touch it is of no use to anyone. All our sites are built in WordPress – the world’s leading content management system. And all sites include one-to-one training and your very own customised ‘how to’ manuals written in plain English, as standard.
It’s your site. You should feel confident, informed and empowered to update it yourself.
Search engine optimisation essentials
Ashlea Wilken, Yoga West
All our websites are built with search engine best practice in mind. We work with you to understand your business – who you’re seeking to target and what they’re likely searching for – then we combine this with search engine research to determine a list of 10 phrases to optimise for. We take the time to properly organise your site information to make it as visible as possible in relevant search results.
All major web pages are optimised based on this research and our training session will introduce you to good habits to follow to ensure your site is at the top of the rankings.
Responsive designs are standard
Since 2014, each and every website we design is responsive, meaning it serves an optimal viewing experience across a wide range of devices from mobile phones to desktop computer monitors. This is standard – not an overpriced extra. The rising number of smart phones, iPads and tablets means responsive website design is a growing necessity.
Responsive web design shouldn’t be an expensive luxury – it’s intrinsic to the success of your digital marketing strategy.
Some of our recent sites:
Botannix Yoga & Cafe
Botannix Yoga & Cafe is a little oasis in the suburbs of southern Sydney, run by Jeff Miller, an experienced, traditional yoga teacher. Although they’d been in business for many years, they lacked a coherent brand and digital presence that reflects the quality, care and expertise of the business. We developed their new logo and branding, used across signage, staff uniforms and other marketing materials, as well as a new, responsive website that attracts people to the business, including their popular yoga teacher training course. The new Botannix website showcases the cafe, the yoga studio and teacher training course, as well as the style and atmosphere of their garden cafe.
Safety Matters, Sydney
Safety Matters provides WHS consultants, occupational therapists, and ergonomics trainers to businesses across Australia. But their old website was out-of-date and unable to be easily updated by business owner Cheryl Wegner. They needed a website that inspired managers and business owners to take their workplace OH&S obligations seriously and be proactive in their approach to employee health and safety. The new Safety Matters showcases the various benefits of engaging their services. It’s able to be easily managed by Safety Matters to keep content up-to-date and use their blog to market their services.

Yoga Feldenkrais, Sydney
Yoga Feldenkrais had an old website with no content management system, which made keeping it updating very difficult. They used to rank well but found their website ranking had dropped considerably in recent years as more competitors came into the market. Their new website is modern and professional, reflecting the considerable qualifications, expertise and experience of Yoga Feldenkrais principal, Margery Hellman.

Yoga West, Perth
Yoga West had a website which was far from user-friendly. With too-small font and a confusing navigation, Yoga West needed a new site that made the online experience far more straightforward, easy and engaging as well as being able to accept online payments. The Yoga West website went live in 2014.
Yoga Sanctuary, Mornington Peninsula
Yoga Sanctuary in Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula is an oasis of calm and needed a website to reflect this so as to better attract students, both locally and overseas, to their retreats and workshops. Yoga Sanctuary website is built in the WordPress content management system and went live in 2012.

Awaken Designs, Southern Highlands NSW
Awaken Designs need to update their website to better reflect their impressive design credentials, including first runner up of the prestigious prix d’excellence international award. As Awaken Designs is part of the Awaken family of companies, the new website needed to reflect the Awaken aesthetic while also having its own unique look. This project included a logo refresh. Awaken Designs went live in 2014.

Body Business Mobile Massage, Sydney
Body Business Mobile Massage needed an interactive, social website that made good use of video and social media to give web visitors a broader and more comprehensive impression of competence, care and attention to detail of Body Business’s masseuses. As Body Business masseuses delivers in-home and in-office massage, its essential that the website inspires trust. Body Business’s website went live in 2013.
