Executive Coaching
Supercharge your performance
High-performing executives have a secret weapon – an executive coach. The best executive coaches take a multi-facted approach, variously acting in the role of strategist, thought partner, advisor, cheerleader, and yes, coach.
Brook McCarthy embodies the essence of modern executive coaching and is known for her quick thinking, sometimes humorous, highly creative approach. Drawing from diverse disciplines and methodologies, she brings a comprehensive perspective to leadership development that transcends traditional coaching boundaries.
At the core of Brook’s philosophy is her bespoke approach. Every client is different so nothing less than custom is required. Executives typically seek Brook out because they’re wanting to optimise their performance, reduce their stress, and better learn to enjoy the wild ride.
Whether you’re seeking to deepen your skills in magnetic leadership presence and speaking, emotional intelligence and self-management, team development, or strategic vision, Brook is variously your confidente, counsel, or coach. Her approach addresses the interconnected nature of executive performance and the intersection of identity, leadership, presence, home, and relationships.
McCarthy’s multifaceted approach operates on several levels simultaneously. She combines analytical business acumen with intuitive understanding of interpersonal dynamics, allowing her clients to navigate complex organisational challenges with both precision and adaptability. This dual perspective enables executives to make decisions that are not only strategically sound but also aligned with your authentic leadership style.
Her coaching framework incorporates elements from behavioral science, organizational psychology, systems thinking, and mindfulness practices. This interdisciplinary foundation allows McCarthy to tailor her approach to each client’s unique circumstances, identifying leverage points for transformation across multiple dimensions of leadership effectiveness.

An executive coach can be invaluable if:
-
-
- You tend to overthink situations and sometimes struggle to prioritise your focus and efforts.
- Stress, insomnia and overwhelm are causing issues in your personal life.
- You over-prepare for presentations and important meetings and wish you could trust yourself more.
- You lack a confidential brainstrust to discuss key relationships and other delicate subjects.
- You spend too much of your limited time helping your team to manage and lead, leaving you too little time for strategy and deep thinking.
-
What’s the outcome of executive coaching?
I’m glad you asked. We don’t do “leadership for leadership’s sake” here. Each and every executive coaching engagement starts with a deep dive into your goals. This process alone can give immense clarity. After all, increased self-awareness is one of the key outcomes of effective coaching.
Together, we redefine what your leadership looks like and your success feels like. We work hand-in-glove to navigate and solve your most complex challenges, refining your strategy into brilliance and elevating your impact beyond isolated incidents, into your longterm legacy.
Clients frequently report great clarity, confidence, resilience and self-trust. These benefits have a ripple effect, leading to higher team retention, promotions and pay rises, and successful executions of key projects and partnerships.
I’ve been told that I’m not a typical coach.
I’m not shy about sharing my opinion. The diversity of my real-world business and life experience means that I move easily between detail and big picture. I am naturally empathetic, creative and see potential that others cannot easily see. More importantly, my clients’ success is my success, so I do everything within my power to make that your reality.
What my clients say
You are one-of-a-kind
You are one-of-a-kind, so your coaching needs to be, too. We can steer this in any direction you choose. But here are a few things we can start with …
Together, we may cover:
Your overarching strategy
Coaching is your opportunity to step back from day-to-day operations to identify long-term patterns, opportunities, and threats and create a future-proof strategy with a vision that aligns your organisational capabilities with evolving market dynamics. Together, we pressure test your strategy to ensure it’s both practical and boldly innovative.
Your executive presence and presentation skills
Executive presence isn’t just about looking the part — it’s about magnetism, charisma, presence and confidence that inspires trust. Together we develop your authentic communication style, playing to your strengths and developing your mindfulness so that you remain cool in any situation. Our work together will hone your presentation skills to deliver your message with clarity and impact, whether you’re speaking to a packed boardroom or having a one-on-one with a team member.
Your professional reputation
Utilising my background in Public Relations, we co-create your professional reputation and personal brand, for greater impact and awareness. This may include developing your thought leadership on your topic of expertise, remaining future focused as key trends develop, and building relationships with key stakeholders outside your company and industry.
Your resilience and self-compassion
Resilient leadership is built on the bedrock of self-insight and self-compassion. Together, we develop your decision-making, emotional intelligence, curiosity and grit. Honing these skills helps you to master the art of leading yourself, which means less stress, more satisfaction, less worrying, more courage and peace.
Your rituals, habits, routines
Depending on your appetite, our executive coaching may include meditation and mindfulness, self-inquiry, and daily rituals, habits and routines to fortify your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health.
Ready for a thought partner to plot your next high-impact move?
How it works
- You need to be coachable. Which means open and willing to have honest, vulnerable conversations. A willingness to suspend disbelief, skepticism and cynicism. A sincere desire to go further, faster, with far more intention and aligned action.
- Every engagement is a bespoke choose-your-own adventure. Some clients want to work intensely. Some prefer a longer period of coaching. Our cadence will be agreed upon in our first meeting and require a commitment to respecting this.
- I don’t gate-keep. If I can help you, introduce you, or refer you, I will.
- You can email or text me in between our sessions for those freak-outs/epiphanies to make it quicker to find clarity.
- Coaching is a maximum $50,000, minimum $15,000, depending on your needs and preferences.

I only see a maximum of six coaching clients at any one time to keep my time and attention with you as focused and fresh as possible. So if you’re interested, click the ‘apply now’ button below to get started.
I look forward to reviewing your application and working with you.
Sincerely,
Brook
